As a musical pioneer, she has explored many expressions: first as a solo artist with four albums described as Arctic folk pop, later through the duo Elin & The Woods, which combines indigenous music with electronic elements, known from both Melodi Grand Prix and Sámi Grand Prix. She also co-founded the band Róhta, where Norse and Sami music meet in a powerful union.
Her latest project, So Silvae, offers ambient music that conveys the calm and peace that can be experienced in nature.
Elin is deeply rooted in her land, Sápmi, and her music and artistry are imbued with Sami primal culture and wisdom – something she likes to share through her yoik courses, among other things.
