Gollebeaivi AS is a small Sámi company creating products and experiences rooted in nature, tradition, and the simple life of Sápmi.

​

The name Gollebeaivi means "the golden day", or “the golden sun” – the most important deity in the Sámi worldview, symbolizing creation, light, and connection with the natural world.

The Sámi language is often called Gollegiella – “the golden language”. 

​

Our first physical product are multi-purpose pouches made from 100% cotton canvas, designed in Sápmi and produced in small batches.

​

They feature Sámi nature symbols and timeless simplicity — created to follow you on your journeys or bring beauty to everyday life.

​

Inspired by Sámi traditions, we believe in lasting natural materials, honest production, and practical durability. 

​

 Beaivi (the Sun) – Creation, life, health, and balance
Lávvu – Home, safety, and togetherness
Trees – The power of nature, eternity, and continuity
Rays – Halo or crown, symbol of light, the sacred, and the heavens

The Story

Gollebeaivi began with an unexpected creative storm.

A few years ago, I found myself in a three-day whirlwind of ideas. I couldn’t do anything else – I just wrote and wrote: sketches, symbols, product concepts, visions of a business deeply rooted in Sámi culture and nature. I had to postpone all my other plans to make time for all the ideas to come. 
 

At the time, I had always seen myself as a singer, artist, and storyteller. But something had shifted. It felt like the spirit of Sápmi had given me a new outlet for my endless creativity. ​

​

In 2023 I started Gollebeaivi AS.
I’m still in the early stages, learning as I go, and building this little company step by step – grounded in the values I carry as an artist and as a Sámi.

Gollebeaivi means “the golden sun” – a symbol of creation and life in Sámi tradition. This light continues to guide the process: one idea at a time, one product at a time.

Everything I create is meant to carry a bit of that golden warmth — a connection to land, language, and something timeless.
